Service:   Medical Oncology

Contract: Fixed term (Feb 2023 - Feb 2024), part time (34 hours p/w) 

Salary:     As per ASMS MECA

We are looking for a medical oncologist to join our team at Wellington Hospital. A range of cancer services are provided by Capital, Coast and Hutt District including medical oncology, radiation oncology and haematology services. We are looking for a medical oncologist to join this dynamic and innovative team.

The medical oncology team at within the Capital, Coast and Hutt District have a culture of providing exemplary patient care within a supportive and multi-disciplinary team environment. We have a strong focus on professional development, teaching and embrace innovation in service delivery.

Moū - About you

  • Vocationally registered in Internal Medicine - medical oncology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
  • FRACP or equivalent qualification and be able to register for with the MCNZ
  • Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
  • Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care
  • Relevant experience and training
