Senior Advisor Communications & Engagement/Kaitohutohu Mātāmua Whakawhiti & Tuitui at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley, Wellington Hospital

Location: Wellington Regional Hospital, Hutt Valley Hospital, Kenepuru Community Hospital 

Service:    Hospital Network Programme; Strategy, Planning & Performance Directorate 

Contract:  12 months fixed term 

Salary:  $90,000 - $110,000

Are you interested in working with clinicians, consumers, subject matter experts and commissioners to develop facility design and service delivery models? 

  • Join our Programme Team as we develop and deliver the Hospital Network across Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley 
  • Help improve health outcomes and equity for the communities we serve

In this role you will work with the other Advisors in Communications and Engagement to ensure planning and delivery of an internal communications and engagement strategy and an external stakeholder engagement strategy supports the Hospital Network Programme - s strategic direction and strategic priorities.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
  • Proven experience in the delivery of internal communications and engagement planning within complex organisations or change programmes
  • Ability to investigate, analyse and contextualise issues, identifying key points to be addressed and simple plans to resolve problems
  • A creative, ideas-driven person
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, identifying stakeholder groups and establishing channels for dialogue
