The details: Permanent part time - 32 hrs per fortnight

We are looking for highly motivated, committed Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team of health care professionals in a family-focused and supportive environment. Specialty training and full orientation will be provided.

Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service

 

Ear nurses are specialty nurses who provide services in a clinic or mobile unit setting. It is a free service that is aimed at identifying potentially serious middle ear disease and hearing loss in tamariki and ensuring they receive any necessary interventions and follow ups, in order to maintain healthy ear function and hearing. Ear nurses provide advice and treatment for grommets, wax and foreign body removal, treatment for discharging ears, and glue ear assessment and management.

Required skills & experience:

• is an effective team player

• has excellent time management and communication skills

• is proactive about their own learning

• has a current annual practising certificate and work permit

• previous paediatric experience is beneficial
