Part-time Receptionist at Te Kawa Mataaho | Public Service Commission, Wellington - Wairarapa

Te Kawa Mataaho public service commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealanders.

This position sits within the Whakatutukitanga ā-Whakahaere | Organisational Capability and Performance group, which enable the business and ensures Te Kawa Mataaho is fit for the future.

As a part time receptionist in the workplace and Administration team, you will be joining a team who have a genuine interest in sharing knowledge, and supporting one another, helping with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include:

-          Meet and greet staff and visitors in person and via phone, in a professional courteous, and friendly manner.

-          Monitor the reception area

-          Manage who is on location and when the person is on location

-          Manage meeting room bookings

-          General reception and administrative duties

Essential skills:

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-          An energetic and can-do approach to your work

-          Previous experience in reception and administration

-          An understanding of Te Tiriti or willingness to learn

This position plays a critical role in the day to day running of our office. You will be the front face of our organisation, responsible for reception, administration and supporting the overall effectiveness and smooth running of our office.

This role would suit someone who would like to have their afternoons off. The hours of work are Monday – Friday between 8am and 1pm.

This position usually pays between $45,600 to $53,100 (FTE) depending on skills and experience.
