Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. Rhoda Read is a Waikato DHB Continuing Care Facility at Morrinsville.
 

Rhoda Read has a rehabilitative focus and also cares for palliative and day-care patients. A small number reside at Rhoda Read at hospital level care.
 

Applicants will need to have a passion to provide nutritious meals for the elderly and prepared to work in a busy and challenging environment.
 

The Kitchen Assistant hours of work are from 9am to 6pm and your 6 shifts per fortnight will cover all 7 days of the week, including weekends and public holidays.

As part of the Older Persons and Rehabilitation Service, Rhoda Read cares mostly for post-acute patients who have been inpatients at Waikato or Thames hospital and need time to recover prior to discharge home.
