About the role

The Integrity Insights Manager leads a team accountable for delivering exceptional service through the provision of proactive, data-led insights. This includes the detection of and insights into fraud, waste, and abuse, along with providing analytical support to intervention teams and wider ACC for integrity related matters.

This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategy to develop the maturity of the Integrity Insights function, including developing the team's capability and capacity, accessing relevant data, tools & technology and the progressive application of more advanced analytics and AI to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the function. Integral to this strategy is the development of key stakeholder and peer relationships within the Integrity Services Business Unit, across the broader Risk & Actuarial Business Unit and wider ACC.

To be successful you will need:

  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to bring others on the journey
  • Ability to lead a team of data analysts in a high performing environment
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to establish confident and long-lasting relationships with individuals
  • Superior interpersonal, relationship building, and networking skills including the ability to handle conflict situations and resolve issues
  • Extensive and proven knowledge and capability in integrity risk management, in particular relating to best practice initiatives to manage fraud, waste and abuse risks
  • Proven experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives in operational environments
  • Experience in leveraging data and analytical tools to transform information into actionable insight
  • Operational knowledge of data analysis tools
  • Knowledge and ability to apply relevant legislation, such as the Crimes Act 1961, ACC legislation, Human Rights Act, Official Information Act, Privacy Act, Private Investigators and Security Guards Act
