As the Financial Systems Business Analyst will take a lead role in
- providing analysis services (technical and business) for appropriate financial data management standards, documentation and processes,
- providing training and advice and participating in FMIS development, data analysis and project work.
and also
- liaise with key project stakeholders and ensure that the interests of the Ministry are protected at all times.
- be responsible for a range of business analyst tasks that are required at the various stages of the Software Life Development Cycle (SLDC) for Finance Business Systems.

The appointment range for this role is min $81,616 – midpoint 96,019 to max $ 110,422 total remuneration including employer contribution to KiwiSaver – negotiable depending on experience.

This is not a Foreign Policy/diplomatic role. This is a ‘Corporate’ role (known here as a Specialist role) based in central Wellington, NZ.
While it is not usual for specialist staff to be ‘posted’ outside of NZ, from time to time a specialist role overseas becomes available at one of our embassies, high commissions, missions or consulates. - reporting and analysis in a complex environment
