Ko Awatea is our centre for health innovation and improvement, supported by experts within the health system. We work with organisations and teams to design and deliver improvement programmes, build capability and provide knowledge and evaluation support to senior leaders, clinical leads, frontline teams, and colleagues locally and nationally.
We are looking to recruit a talented senior evaluator to operationalize these aims, and work in our evaluation programme. Building relationships and working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders will be fundamental to your success in shaping and implementing our strategic direction. You are someone who can bring experience in a range of evaluation approaches and methodologies to the table.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday. The position will take a key role in the Ko Awatea Research and Evaluation Office, based at Middlemore Hospital, assisting in delivery of the Research and Evaluation portfolio. The Senior Evaluation Officer will focus equally on building internal capability education, workshops, advice, guidance and actual delivery of evaluation projects. Additionally, the Senior Evaluator will provide leadership, and mentoring to less experienced staff and/or Evaluation officer/s.
You will have a post-graduate qualification in health, science or other relevant field coupled with at least five (05) years applied experience in research, data analysis and/or evaluation. It is essential that you can demonstrate experience in analysing quantitative and qualitative health data.
