Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for a Communications Advisor to join our small team based in Greenlane, Auckland.
Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS) is recruiting a self-starter with some experience, or a new communications graduate eager to learn.
You’ll do a bit of everything – media releases, internal and digital content, and working with stakeholders and communities on a range of communications.
As part of the National Public Health Service, this role also offers opportunities to work on regional and national projects and campaigns. This is a permanent, full time position.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
- Previous experience working in a communications team, or if a graduate, a strong interest in health communications or community engagement.
- The ability to write well under pressure and for different audiences
- Understanding of how to use a range of communications channels
- Knowledge of te ao Māori and tikanga would be a distinct advantage, as would a background engaging Pacific communities
