Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Spinal Unit is a leading rehabilitation centre at Burwood Hospital and we want you to join our dedicated team providing top class care. A patient - s journey in the spinal unit is complex and challenging with highs and lows, so we need you to be positive and passionate about rehabilitation to ensure our patients reach their full potential.
The unit offers social rostering, however, flexibility is still required as you will be expected to be available for all shifts.
Professional
development is encouraged in the unit and supported by Nurse Educators.

You - ll need excellent communication skills, flexible thinking and an interest in innovative and emerging therapies. You - ll have a strong rehabilitation focus, a desire to learn and an understanding of the social needs and backgrounds of patients and their families/Whanau.
A good sense of humour, the ability to develop rapport with patients and colleagues, and exceptional team work will go a long way in this environment and ensure you assist patients overcome multi-faceted challenges.
Rehabilitation experience would be a bonus, but not a requirement.
