We are seeking registered nurses with operating theatre experience who are enthusiastic and passionate about delivering quality patient care. You will provide leadership and co-ordination of Delivery Suite and develop expertise of others in the operating theatre environment.

Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service
Our main theatre department is comprised of 24 theatres in which broad ranges of surgical specialties perform procedures, inclusive of paediatrics. In addition, we are responsible for the Delivery Suite theatre where emergent/acute procedures occur.
The department responds to acute/emergent demand over 7 days/week, 24 hours/day. On average approximately 100 surgeries are performed each day – a combination acute (time critical) and elective (planned) work.

Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- have a minimum of 5 years theatre nursing experience, including Delivery Suite
- have proven experience successfully leading a team
- be innovative and able to adapt to change
- have high attention to detail
- possess excellent communication skills
- be proactive and seeks opportunities to take action
- hold a current annual practising certificate
