Where you’ll be working: Waikato Hospital
The details: Fixed Term for 2 years - Permanent - 80 hours per fortnight
- Be part of the national transformation in Health
- Over the next 2 years be part of transforming the Waikato Campus, Waiora CBD and wider sites into high performing services to meet the needs of our staff and the community.
- Be part of our teams’ scoping, developing and co- designing of facilities for the future.
- Experience in healthcare and/or hospital management is desirable
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for a Project Manager who is a self-starter and who has a successful track record of delivery excellence.
The role has oversight of space allocation throughout the Waikato main Hamilton campus and other Hamilton wider facilities, to ensure optimal health outcomes and safe clinical delivery. Consideration will be given to Equity, sustainability and organisational future planning.

Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:
Preferred Skills:
- Project Management Experience
- Formal Project Management Training (Prince2 Practitioner or SAFe Certified)
- Knowledge of the Waikato campus site
- Finance and Budget experience
- External and Internal Stakeholder Management Experience
Desired Skills:
- Team or Service Delivery Management Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the application of the articles
- Level 1 Basic Understanding of Te Reo Māori me ona Tikanga
- Reporting and Written Presentation skills
