Project Team Opportunities - Transport Network System Design at New Zealand Transport Agency, Wellington

We are expanding our team so we can deliver significant long-term priorities for the transport system. This is your opportunity to work across projects that will positively impact how communities live and move.

In System Design we work with partners to bring national transport ambitions to life by designing them right, from the start. We embed best practice Project Management discipline to enable the successful delivery of our intended outcomes we are committing to being involved with the project right from the start until the very end.

Our teams are based in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, we will consider other locations across New Zealand.

Principal Project Manager | Senior Project Manager | Project Manager

These are not your standard project roles. The work is complex and challenging where you'll be involved in the lifecycle from the early stages of identification, detailed business case phases, through to implementation. The team delivers on various stages of procurement, planning and approvals, whilst ensuring that all project controls are in place.

These multi-faceted roles will collaborate and engage with teams across Waka Kotahi, local authorities, and a variety of stakeholders and development partners.

Project Controls Specialist | Project Coordinator

These are key roles and are vital to the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for reporting on project controls, and administration throughout the lifecycle of the project. A key focus is the execution of process control improvements that enhance Waka Kotahi's successful delivery on capital projects.
