Project Coordinator - Prudential Policy
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand | Te Pūtea Matua is New Zealand's central bank. Its purpose is enabling economic prosperity and well-being for all New Zealanders | Toitū te Ōhanga.
The Reserve Bank is preparing for new legislation that will promote the prosperity and well-being of New Zealanders. This legislation will contribute to a productive and sustainable economy by protecting and promoting the stability of the financial system.
This is an exciting time as the Bank continues to transform, setting up to meet an evolving mandate and purpose. This role sits within an ongoing multi-year project with a range of newly created roles that will enable Te Pūtea Matua to prepare for the Deposit Takers Bill that's been introduced to Parliament. This is a fixed term position for two years.
Te tūranga - The role
As the Project Coordinator you will support the Prudential Policy business unit in the implementation of the Deposit Takers Act (DTA) through the provision of project coordinator and administrative duties, as well as associated governance and assurance processes.
You will work closely with a range of stakeholders and be responsible for providing project and general coordination support to an in-flight project.

You will be familiar with working in a project based environment and have experience working within a similar role. You are an excellent communicator and able to work both collaboratively and indepently within a team to achieve results. You will need to be effective in managing your time, and being agile in your approach to ensure the things run smoothly and tasks are achieved in a timely manner.
