Then we may have just what you're looking for in our friendly Ophthalmology Clinic in New Zealand's leading outpatient facility Manukau Super Clinic (MSC). The Opthalmology Outpatient department boasts fantastic facilities and up-to-date procedure room at MSC, and we have also expanded to run clinics out of Middlemore.

 

Our dedicated multi-disciplinary team provide a friendly, professional service to the people of Counties Manukau including General Ophthalmology, Diabetic Eye Disease, Orthoptic Service and Occulo-Plastics.  You will be involved in clinic work including pre-admissions as well as minor procedures / theatre work at both Middlemore and MSC.

 

We are seeking a New Zealand Registered Nurse with some post graduate experience and a genuine interest in the fascinating speciality of Ophthalmology. Excellent communication skills are an essential pre-requisite for this role as is the ability to be a good listener and troubleshoot when necessary - basically we are looking for a fantastic people person!

Essential:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years post registration experience in a hospital setting with a passion to work in the Ophthalmology service
