National Women's at Auckland City Hospital is the largest maternity hospital in Australasia, with approximately 6,500 babies born each year. We are a national tertiary referral centre whilst also providing primary maternity care to women in the central Auckland area.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
As a Maternal Medicine Midwife Specialist, you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team that includes Specialist Midwives, MFM Obstetricians, Physicians and Social Workers.
Some of your duties would include:
- Proving ante-natal and post-natal care to women in the hospital and community
- Co-ordination of care for tertiary level women
- Providing care and support to those women and their whanau experiencing pregnancy loss.
We are looking for the following:
- Previous Maternal Medicine experience (it will be an advantage but not essential)
- Evidence of previous or on-going relevant postgraduate or community midwifery experience
