Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The Mental Health and Addictions service is seeking a talented individual to drive end to end operations and efficiency within the Adult Mental Health & Addictions service. The Operations Manager will provide leadership that translates effective quality and continuous improvement into operations and will be fully cognisant in fiscal and budget management. Your prior skills within senior management combined with significant skills within mental health or a similar health sector will see you working with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders, establishing and building effective relationships at many levels.

Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:
- A tertiary qualification in a business or health discipline or demonstrable relevant experience
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in operational and strategic leadership in a complex health related environment
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Extensive experience in building and sustaining collaborative working relationships in a high pressure environment to enable effective change management
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to negotiate, resolve conflict and positively influence and motivate others
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
