Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waitemata serves the communities of North and West Auckland and the Rodney District, a population of over 500,000. Te Whatu Ora Waitematā Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Service is the largest provider of Mental Health and Addiction Services in New Zealand.

The EPI Team is a specialist service working across the District. We are an assertive outreach community based multidisciplinary team working intensively with young people and their families, providing interventions from the acute phase of psychosis through to recovery.

The service operates a clinical governance model and there are opportunities to be involved in service development, service planning and quality improvement initiatives. 

Teaching and supervision of junior doctors/students and clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team are core functions for our Consultants

Working six-seven (6-7) days a fortnight you will be committed to providing a high standard of care and clinical leadership, and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team. You will have a strong consumer focus and enjoy the challenges of providing services to a diverse community.
