Location:   Wellington Regional Hospital

Service:    Child Health Service - Ward 1 & Kowhai Ward

Contract:   Permanent, full-time & part time available ( 0.6-1 FTE)

Salary:      Registered Nurse $64,291 - $83,186 pro rata

Are you an experienced paediatric nurse? Are you someone with a passion for child health and wanting a rewarding career in paediatric nursing? We - re offering the opportunity for successful candidates to develop their diverse paediatric nursing experience, knowledge and clinical skills. All staff are supported by the Senior Nurse team - CNM, ACNM, CNS & NE roles.

Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team

Wellington Regional Children - s Hospital provides specialist tertiary level care for young patients requiring Medical, Surgical, Oncology and Sub-specialty care. Staffed by a dedicated team of experienced doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. Nurses are an essential service to meet the needs of children and their families/whanau.

Te Wao Nui is the new children - s hospital. This new state of the art, fit for purpose facility has enhanced the experience for patients, whānau and clinicians.

Moū - About you

  • Minimum 12 months nursing experience
  • A current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that values teamwork
  • Completed CAP/NETP Programme 
  • Overseas applicants should first establish their eligibility for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and further information is available on nursingcouncil.org.nz
