Contract: Permanent Part time FTE 0.8
Salary: $66,570 - $95,340 as per NZNO Meca.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Whatu Ora Hutt Valley is an eight theatre suite. We are a dynamic and innovative provider of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery involving multi-disciplinary teams; along with services for obstetrics and gynaecological, ENT, general, orthopaedics, dental, maxillofacial, and acute services.
Opportunities are available for Registered Nurses within the PACU to meet the increasing demand.
There will be opportunities to expand and develop knowledge and skills across this specialised area. This enables you to become a part of a close-knit team and support the patient - s throughout their perioperative journey.

This unit is part of the wider Perioperative department and is a fast-paced, quality driven, patient focused environment. We pride ourselves on having a dynamic and supportive team.
Moū - About you
- Current New Zealand Registration and Annual Practising Certificate.
- PACU Experience preferable with ACLS Level Six.
- A high level of professionalism and communication, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent crisis-management skills.
- Ability to work on a rostered and rotating basis with an on-call component.
