Permanent Full or Part Time  

12 Hour Rostered Shifts

Right now, there is an opportunity for an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse to join the Timaru hospital team.  You - ll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role, where there is never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!

As a basic requirement, recent New Zealand emergency nursing experience including being triage trained is required. 

We are seeking someone who ideally has:

  • The ability to work unsupervised and uses initiative appropriately
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and can relate well to patients and families
  • Can work with a supportive team approach
  • The willingness to meet the required training and documentation standards within the Emergency Department
  • Past emergency nursing experience or is triage trained
