Mental Health Clinical Psychologist (Full Time) Matariki, Otara Mangere Locality at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, Auckland

Counties Manukau provides health and disability services to over 500,000 people in our local community. We are focused on achieving better health outcomes for our growing patient population, with particular emphasis on Maaori and Pacific peoples and other communities with health disparities. 

 

The Otara/ Mangere locality service provides a range of high quality, integrated and comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment interventions and support for adults experiencing mental health and co-existing drug and alcohol issues who reside in the Otara, Mangere, Papatoetoe and Otahuhu areas.

 

The service operates as a dynamic, supportive and innovative multidisciplinary team. We serve a unique and growing multi-cultural population in South Auckland. The diversity of our community and the range of mental health needs it presents, facilitates a stimulating and challenging environment for clinicians. This role provides assessment, treatment and support to adults who experience mental health and addiction challenges.

You will also be provided with ongoing support with clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.

 

Essential:

  • New Zealand Clinical Psychology Registration and current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Post registration experience in a clinical setting
  • Current Full NZ Drivers Licence
