Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Thames Hospital has a vacancy for a Theatre/PACU Nurse in our busy elective operating theatre suite. You will be working variable rostered days from Monday to Friday. Thames Theatre services include general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, plastics, ENT, dental, women’s health and endoscopy.

Thames Hospital has two Operating Theatres which run 9 days per fortnight Monday to Friday. We have multi-speciality lists from both Thames based and visiting Surgeons, which include ENT, Plastics, Dental, General Surgery and Gynaecology. We have an efficient, multi-skilled close-knit team of experienced Theatre, PACU and Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistants (RNAA).

 

We provide surgical services to clients from the wider Coromandel – Hauraki District, and other areas serviced by Te Whatu Ora, Waikato.

 

Mōu | About you

We are looking for a NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practising Certificate, with a commitment to excellence. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure when required and to show initiative, and have the ability to be flexible with the work required. RNAA and or qualification would be an advantage.
