Community Midwife – Papakura Birthing Unit

Part Time, Permanent Opportunity (0.8 FTE)

Papakura Birthing Unit Community Midwifery Team is looking for an energetic, dynamic team player wanting a change in their current midwifery employment. We are looking for a midwife who would like to join an established team, providing antenatal and postnatal care for the women of South Auckland. The role will include the provision of midwifery care both in the home and clinic visits. Our service covers weekends and public holidays.

You will have demonstrated outstanding communication skills and great initiative. We offer an excellent working environment with full orientation and extra educational support.

 Essential:

  • New Zealand Registered Midwife
  • Current Practicing Certificate
  • 2+ years clinical experience
  • Full and clean NZ Drivers Licence

Desired:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team
