Home Support Worker | Between Greymouth and Westport at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Tai o Poutini West Coast, Greymouth

Start Date: As soon as available
Hours: Hours between 8am and 8pm Monday to Sunday - some weekend work may be required
Status: Permanent Full and Part Time, Casual (Please note in cover letter your preferred)
Location: Southern Region - Te Tai o Poutini (Between Greymouth and Westport)
Salary: Based on the collective agreement for Home and Community Support Workers - PSA with WCDHB
Note: Current drivers licence and own vehicle is essential.

Mō te tūnga - About the Role

We are looking for superstar who is passionate in providing exceptional care to our clients at their residence.
You will be responsible for supporting clients with personal care and household management within the home. Providing quality care to people of all ages and supporting them to remain in their homes.

This role will suit anyone who is willing to gain experience in healthcare. Full training and support will be provided.

  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
  • Compassion and the ability to engage with a wide range of people

  • Basic computer skills
  • Current drivers licence and own vehicle as travel will be required.
  • NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 2 or higher) is preferred but not essential
