Innovation Lead - Partnership at Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities , Auckland

Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

The Construction and Innovation Group supports Kāinga Ora to grow and remediate its public and supported housing portfolio through the design and development of high quality homes that meet the needs of the community now and in the future, and by driving innovation across the construction sector. The Construction and Innovation Group also advises on standards for quality homes, provides planning and logistical support in the rehousing of tenants affected by construction and provides construction pipeline scheduling and reporting.

The Innovation Lead - Partnership will lead the development and implementation of the construction innovation partnerships activity.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

  • Demonstrated partnerships experience within the building, construction or architectural industry
  • Experience with the build process and the ability to interpret architectural plans
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong strategic relationships across the sector and within Kāinga Ora
  • Extensive industry experience or a tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience with preparing business cases or proposals for new partnerships
  • Able to develop options and proposals for how Kāinga Ora develops innovation partnerships
  • The ability to clearly and concisely convey information and ideas in both oral and written communication
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills and experience in the use of Adobe products
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service by acting in a professional manner with customers
  • The ability and desire to collaborate and work well in a team environment
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal relationship management and presentation skills
  • Interest in public sector structure, governance, processes and systems
  • Understanding of partnership obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi
