Malaga a le Pasifika is our Pacific cultural liaison team of cultural workers who work closely with Te Whatu Ora - Waitemata Mental Health services.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cultural Assessor/Advisor. We would like to hear from you, if you have the following:
• A passion to work within Pacific Mental Health and Addictions Services with Pasifika clients and families
• Interest / experience in the mental health field and family work
• Ability to work within a cultural and clinical multi-disciplinary team
• Fluency in the Cook Island or Tuvaluan Language
• Lived experience and fluency in Pacific culture
• Ability to demonstrate the core values of Waitemata, Everyone Matters, Connected, With Compassion, Better Best Brilliant
It is desirable that you will have a qualification and experience working with male clients in mental health. However, training and support will also be provided to the right candidate.
