Working at Te Tari Taiwhenua | Department of Internal Affairs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders.
You will be working in the Accountability, Performance and Assurance team within Toi Hiranga | Regulation and Policy Branch. Your mahi will be leading the planning, reporting and accountability processes for Toi Hiranga. You will also be involved in projects and initiatives that uplift performance, culture and capability across the branch.
This role will give you the opportunity to engage with senior leaders, while working with a range of stakeholders to ensure advice is well informed and risk aware.
We are looking for someone who can provide high quality advice to senior leaders on organisational non-financial and financial performance through their analytical and presentational skills and who can improve our reporting systems. You will also be great at building and maintaining strong relationships across the branch and with key stakeholders, as this will be integral to your mahi. Relevant experience with public sector accountability processes and in preparing briefings for Ministers and/or senior leadership teams is required.
