Salary: $64,000 - $72,000
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our research team in Wellington Regional Hospital. The role will drive the administration and financial processes in Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley District Research Office.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The Research Office supports and oversees research activities in both Wellington Regional Hospital and Hutt Hospital. We have a great team with majority of staff having experience in many research-related areas dedicated to improving health outcomes for our communities, with a strong focus on equity for Māori, Pacific peoples and people with disabilities.
Moū - About you
To be successful in this position, you will have strong computer skills and interpersonal skills. You will also need exceptional organisational skills, a high level of initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage matters in a confidential manner.
Other key skills and experience we are looking for:
- Experience in administration and clinical research
- Strong interpersonal skills - builds rapport and relates well with people
- Proven ability to challenge the status quo and view things from different perspectives; fostering innovative thinking and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated competency in computer skills, including using a range of Microsoft packages
- Understanding of and a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
