MFAT are looking for a skilled administrator to support the group responsible for New Zealand’s relationship with Asia and the Americas.

 

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role  

 

The key purpose of the Team Administrator role is to provide a broad range of administrative support for the office the Americas and Asia Group, providing support in business administration and corporate services such as; financial administration, information and database management, correspondence and travel, diary management and meeting and event coordination and assistign the transfers team on a regular basis.

The full salary range for this role is $52,286 and $66,787 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution.

We expect to appoint with a starting salary of $52,268 to $59,000.

To be successful in this role, you would:

  • have a strong customer focus
  • be technologically adept and confident using the MS Office suite
  • outstanding interpersonal and communication skills,
  • excellent attention to detail
  • to be a natural planner and organiser with the ability to self-manage and use initiative.
  • have excellent attention to detail
  • be flexible and able to adapt quickly in a reactive environment

 

Ideally you will also have a good understanding of tikanga (Māori customs and protocols), with the ability to weave te ao Māori (the Māori worldview) into your work.
