Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 1 $58,513 - 8 $85,204)

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a social worker to join the Kidz First Centre for Youth Health.

 

Kidz First Centre for Youth Health is a team of health professionals who provide advice and support for young people, along with their whaanau.

 

Our team includes nurses, doctors, social workers, psychologist, and occupational therapists.

 

We provide support to young people aged 12 – 24 years, who experience complicated health and youth development concerns that have a significant impact on their lives. We also provide care to young people who have chronic health conditions, developmental concerns, psychosomatic health issues, high-risk health behaviours and gender diverse and transgender health care.

 

We are looking for a social worker with a minimum of two years post qualification social work experience, who has sound clinical and interpersonal skills, is patient and whanau centred and can work independently and within a team environment.

 

The ideal candidate would have experience working with young people in a health or education setting and an understanding of working within a positive youth development model. 

 

This position is based at Kidz First Community – 95 Wiri Station Road, Manukau

 

Essential:

  • Current registration with the Social Workers Registration Board NZ
  • Clean, full drivers’ licence
