The Emergency Department is looking for an experienced Roster Coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for the roster coordination across the Emergency Department for the Clinical and Non-Clinical teams.
In this role you will ensure that the daily staff allocation is updated from the roster to ensure smooth rostering occurs and appropriate skill mix safe staffing is maintained. You will need to organise roster cover for all planned and unplanned leave and ensure weekly validations are run for management to review and approve.
The ideal candidate will command;
- Great communication skills both verbal and written
- Be able to maintain privacy and confidentiality, and display integrity and discretion at all times
- Master scheduling experience with a clear understanding of the master scheduling role and electronic rostering systems as they relate to the health sector
- Have proven organisational skills with strong attention to detail skills

This position is a full time role working 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday with varying rostered shifts.

Dependent on skills and experience the salary range is in line with the PSA Clerical and Administrative staff collective agreement.
