At the Community Oral Health Service (COHS) we focus on prevention of oral health disease, reducing inequalities in child oral health, and education to improve the health status of children in our community. The team will tell you they love the relationships formed over the years with children and their families.
This role assists with booking oral health appointments and follow-ups for up to 7000 children, aged between 0 -13 years, from across the Nelson/Tasman/Marlborough region. We are a supportive team of hub receptionists, oral health/dental therapists, dental assistants and an oral health educator collaborating across the regional service. You will be covering three hubs - Nelson, Stoke and Richmond.
Our usual hours of work are between 8.00AM and 5.00PM (Monday - Friday). Actual days of work will be discussed with the successful candidate. This is a part-time position working 48 hours per fortnight. The commencing salary for Administrative Support is $63,984 with previous experience being a consideration in salary commencement (pro rata per annum, i.e. based on a 40 hour week).

You will have a bright, positive personality and will provide a welcoming face to our family/ whānau when they attend their children - s oral health appointments at our friendly hub in Richmond.
It - s important that you are well presented, have good communication and computing skills and - most importantly - enjoy working with children!
You are required to provide proof that you have completed your primary course of NZ approved Covid-19 vaccinations.
