At the Service Delivery and Operations branch, we are the face of DIA. Whether we're helping to register births, deaths or marriages, or assisting in passport applications, community grants or civil union and name change registrations, we're dedicated to serving the needs of New Zealanders.

The Graduate Charities Regulator is a development role that contributes to the delivery of Charities Services' regulatory functions. This is achieved by having a drive to learn, develop and apply the skills to make well-informed decisions, and delivering targeted regulatory activity. You would be expected to work closely and learn from your team. The Charities Services team is made up of four parts (Capability, Support, Registration & Investigations), and the graduate position will work across all areas as required and will contribute to the wider success of the team as a regulator.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Experience working in a regulatory and compliance function is advantageous
  • Experience in researching, analysing, and summarising information would be beneficial
  • An understanding of regulatory functions and purpose
  • An understanding of the public sector
