Mō te tūnga | About the role
Ward 10 is one of our surgical wards at the Canterbury DHB which specialises in cardiothoracic surgery. Our role sees us caring for patients that are undergoing acute and arranged cardiac and thoracic surgery. Furthermore, Ward 10 is soon is to be adding a new specialty to become a Cardiothoracic and Cardiology Ward.
We are seeking Registered Nurses with a passion for this area of nursing and a commitment to the delivery of high standard of nursing care. Enthusiastic and motivated, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a fast paced, forward thinking, supportive environment.

If you - re a motivated, enthusiastic Registered
Nurse, with acute medical and/or surgical experience and would like the
opportunity to practice in cardiothoracic nursing we would love to hear from
you.

- Acute medical or surgical experience is essential
- A NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
