The Team: What we do
Here at Christchurch Hospital we are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the leadership team to provide professional expertise and guidance across a service. This role is scope as - Expert - on the SI career framework. The Allied Health Clinical Leader, Physiotherapy will:
- enhance and develop physiotherapy clinical knowledge in the designated area
- maintain advanced clinical, cultural and professional standards and competencies across the designated area of service
- Evaluate clinical practice through reflection,
audit and outcome measures to continually improve the physiotherapy
service to patients and whanau
The Role: Where you fit in
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert clinical and professional practice and optimising the model of care
- Assisting the Clinical Manager in leading service planning and delivery
- Providing clinical leadership and enhancing the culture of excellence
- Assisting the Clinical Manager with workforce management
- To lead and maintain a high-quality service
delivery
Your skills will include:
- An awareness of the application of research and innovation to improve clinical practice and service delivery models
- Professional demeanour and high level of personal integrity
- Resilience with the ability to manage stressful and unpredictable workloads
- Self-motivated, independent, with a high level of initiative
- Interest and skills in adult education
- Excellent time management and organisation skills

- Understanding of the requirement for patient confidentiality
