About the role:
Two Manager People Operations positions work closely together to deliver services to ACC. The work of the two teams spans a wide spectrum, from providing information and advice to case management and support for complex issues. This includes not only HR, but also security and safety. Together the two roles will maintain an overview of the operational service delivery system, ensuring co-ordinated and seamless services.
The Manager People Operations role combines people leadership, with operational design and management. You will develop a holistic understanding of the work we do, the impact it has on ACC and the experience our people have engaging with us. Success will not depend on having deep technical level of expertise in every advice area but in building and igniting a team to pursue greatness.
This is an integral position to the People and Culture function at ACC. You will really be able to make your mark and affect change to the way that the team operates to deliver its outcomes. Please note this is a Wellington based role however remote working is negotiable for the right candidate.
About you:
We're looking for an effective people leader who can lead and imbed change. Someone who can apply themselves across the team to understand the bigger issues their people are facing and together come up with processes to provide solutions. Taking a strategic lens to complex problem areas and driving the direction of the team to provide consistent longstanding solutions going forward. Someone with a design centred approach to problem solving.
You will have extensive HR generalist experience and have managed senior advisors. We need someone who has delivered a change to the way of working within a team and can demonstrate this. Someone who is comfortable assisting with complex queries and managing case work.
You will have:
- Experience in HR (ideally 7-10 years)
- Management experience (ideally 3 years)
- Technical skills - HR lifecycle, people experience/user experience
- Design thinking - proven experience designing and implementing operational change.
Working at ACC:
The base salary range for this role is $114,022 to $160,972 with starting salary depending on skills and experience of the successful applicant. ACC also offers additional 9% superannuation.
