The Healthy Together Technology Team has been successfully implementing clinical and non-clinical Information Technology (IT) systems within Counties Manukau since 2017.

As a Change Manager, you will play a key role in engaging clinical and non-clinical staff, and at times patients and family/whaanau when implementing new systems across the organisation. You will work closely with project managers and other project team members in the delivery of new systems, identifying new ways of working and ensuring all staff have the right level of training, support and knowledge.

You will be responsible for developing implementation plans ensuring staff receive role specific training and adequate support at go live of new systems or upgrade of existing systems. You may be involved in the planning and implementation of new regional systems, working closely with other districts or regions.

The ideal individual will have experience in health and technology-enabled transformation projects, experience with data collection and analysis to support change and three years plus of experience in key change management activities including change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement and development of communications plans. Experience with delivery of organisational change and being a team player who is capable of working independently and collaboratively are critical to succeeding in this role.

This is a full time, working primarily Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital.

Essential:

• Previous health sector experience
• Qualification in either health and/or change management
• Preferably at least 3 year’s project/change management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of the treaty of Waitangi
• Current and full NZ driver’s licence
