An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator – General/Gynaecology Theatre and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Te Whatu Ora Lakes.

Te Whatu Ora Lakes has 6 operating rooms with often two theatres running with elective or acute General and/or Gynaecology surgery.

Are you experienced in delivering high-quality General/Gynaecology theatre services?
Do you want to lead a team that strives to achieve excellence in General/Gynaecology surgery?
This position is based in Rotorua and consists of day shift Monday to Friday including some on-call where necessary (36 hours per week, 5 days one week/4 days the following week). We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about coordinating General/Gynaecology cases and equipment as well as mentoring and coaching staff.
If your possess well-developed interpersonal relationship skills, able to multitask and deliver to time frames, we would love to hear from you.
Mō koe / About you
You will need to be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Operating Theatre with a focus on General/Gynaecology (elective and acute) surgery. There is an expectation that you will have completed Post Graduate Certificate.
Awhe utu / Salary range
$95,576 to $106,016 pro-rated to hours worked.
