Clinical Dietitian – Acute Cover Role (0.5FTE Permanent)

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic experienced NZ Registered Dietitian to join our close-knit and innovative team of Dietitians at Waitematā District. As the acute cover dietitian you would be working across all inpatient wards at both North Shore Hospital and Waitakere Hospital providing cover based on demand, acuity and capacity. This is a 0.5FTE position which requires flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment as you will be working across teams and sites each week.

This position is ideal for a Dietitian with at least 3 years’ experience in a range of clinical areas who is looking for part-time work in a well-supported team.

We are looking for a Dietitian who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a flexible and challenging environment. You will have great communication skills, be results-driven, efficient in your time management, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a strong quality-focused team.

You would be part of a larger team of Dietitians in Medicine and Health of Older people providing adult patient services. We provide inpatient, outpatient and community dietetic services to a number of areas including medical, surgical, mental health, older adults, renal, gastro, bariatrics and home enteral nutrition.

We offer excellent professional support which allows you to meet your continuing competency requirements, as well as providing opportunity for research and includes regular protected time and clinical supervision.
