Monday to Friday – no shift work!

Part time position – fixed term (12- 13 months)

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work on a part time basis.

We need someone who is self-motivated and well organised to join the outpatient team at Waitakere Hospital. The successful applicant will have proven experience with medical and surgical specialties and can demonstrate a can do attitude to problem solving and working in a constant changing environment.

Recent ED/ADU or A&M experience does suit the Outpatient environment, however skills in post op wound care, cast care and assisting with clinical procedures is advantageous as well.

The department manages over 100,000 appointments per year, with a focus on ensuring a positive patient experience.

It is a complex diverse environment that requires a broad clinical surgical and medical knowledge.

Excellent clinical and communication skills are essential, along with an ability to be flexible and adaptable to the changes that occur throughout the day. The main focus of your work will be supporting and assisting with medical, orthopaedics, surgical and women’s health clinics.
