Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga is New Zealand's lead agency for heritage protection, advocacy and heritage properties management.

As part of the Regional Services Team, reporting to the Chief Legal Advisor, the Legal Services Advisor will assist with the provision of legal services for Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga.

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic person to give legal advice to a broad range of disciplines, including resource management, contract, land and environmental law.

Ideally you will have some experience in resource management, although transferable skills are also relevant to this role, for example litigation and mediation. You will also need to be eligible for a practising certificate and have a willingness to learn.
