We are on the lookout for a Programme Manager (Full Time) to join our incredible team at Te Whatu Ora Waitematā.

We are looking for pharmacists with clinical expertise and significant experience leading quality improvement initiatives across primary care. We are looking for a team player with a flexible approach and highly responsive to opportunities for improving health outcomes. 

Reporting to the Pharmacy Strategic Development Manager, you will be an integral part of the team managing service development, funding, contracting, monitoring and relationships with providers across primary healthcare and secondary care. You could be working on a range of programmes to improve quality use of medicines and safety of service delivery.

We are entering a new era in healthcare where we re-orientate our health system around primary and community care. This requires working closely and collaboratively with providers to ensure equitable delivery of quality healthcare services.

You will be a motivated self-starter with an eye for detail and a focus on quality. You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders both regionally and nationally therefore, strong political acumen, astute relationship building and negotiation skills are essential. Most importantly you will have a passion to improve the health and equity of the population across Tāmaki Makaurau.
