We are looking for a trusted financial advisor to work as a Management Accountant in a challenging Government department.
You will be part of the Business Partnering Team within Finance, and work closely with the Senior Management Accountant to support the Finance Business Partner, and provide sound financial management to the business.
As a Management Accountant, you will contribute to all financial matters and including the development and delivery of effective financial management services, budgeting and forecasting, and modelling as required.

To be successful in this role you will need experience in:
Providing high quality financial advice, information, analysis and interpretation on financial performance.
Financial reporting and performance monitoring
Financial administration, compliance and risk management processes, which includes processing monthly invoices, problem solving, and maintaining appropriate internal controls and safeguards
Any experience with public sector appropriations and the public finance cycle will be viewed favourably
The role is fixed term (until August 2024), however a permanent opportunity would be considered for the right person. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to a challenging work programme.
