We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our team in the musculoskeletal outpatient Physiotherapy clinic at Middlemore Hospital. The team forms part of the, Adult Rehabilitation, Acute Allied Health Service for the Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau.

 

Comprehensive Physiotherapy services are provided to a culturally and clinically diverse group of adults with musculoskeletal conditions including referrals from a range of hospital based specialties and primary care. This position may also involve the supervision of rotational staff and undergraduate physiotherapy students.

 

You will work alongside and be professionally supported by a team of experienced Physiotherapists a Section Head Physiotherapist, and the Physiotherapy Professional Leader. We also have close links with the wider Allied Health team for collaboration and professional development opportunities.

 

The department actively encourages continuous professional development with continuous and collaborative learning through a range of opportunities.

 

Essential:

  • New Zealand Registration and a Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Physiotherapy 
  • Experience in orthopaedic/musculoskeletal physiotherapy preferred
  • Full drivers licence

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in supervision of rotational staff and students
  • Research and audit skills
