We are looking to welcome a highly organised part time administrator to our service to support our large Allied Health Therapies Service, Te Whata Moanarua. The position is based at the Hawke’s Bay Soldier’s Memorial Hospital.
If you have an eye for detail, are self-motivated and highly organised, have a positive can-do attitude, excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to multitask and work to deadlines, and most importantly, have proficient computer skills and confidence with clerical processes and systems then we have the opportunity for you.
The successful applicant will have proven administrative experience, and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other programmes and be able to learn new computerised operating systems that we rely on in our organisation.
Duties will include all aspects of day to day office administration, formatting & updating our data bases, documents and presentations; filing; ordering and providing quality business and administrative support to management and the wider clinical group. We are looking for someone who will seek out opportunities to improve our current processes and be a proactive part of our team.
You will work closely with the Manager and Team Leaders of the service and also provide support to our clinicians. The clinicians and teams are varied and include Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians and Speech Language Therapists who work both in outpatient clinics and in the acute hospital wards. Allied Health Therapists support people with acute and longer-term health conditions to maintain their independence and achieve their wellbeing goals. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a large and diverse but supportive and interactive team.
Current hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 2:30pm, however hours and days are negotiable for the successful candidate.
