Our Transport Services Group plan, design, build, operate and maintain an integrated transport system which reflects our plans and priorities as an Organisation, to provide, improve and maintain the land transport system to effectively enable transport services.
The Portfolio and Performance team enables Transport Services to invest wisely and deliver the right things for Aotearoa. The team provides clarity to the Transport Services group by agreeing and holding a 3-year national portfolio of state highway maintenance and capital improvement activities and reporting on our performance.

At Waka Kotahi (the NZ Transport Agency), it all starts with our people, and we are eager to recruit a Senior Programme Analyst into our team.
This role, Senior Programme Analyst - Supplier Performance, is responsible for the provision of high-quality information and reporting about the performance of our supply partners and the delivery of the state highways maintenance and operations. You'll be responsible for monitoring the delivery and receipt of data for OPM and KRA measures, undertaking data analysis, interrogation of data and modelling against the strategic and operational performance framework. Utilising your skills to build positive relationships and quality engagement with industry, offering your insights and growing understanding of network condition and levels of service.

To be successful in this role you'll bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification preferably with an applied management or performance management component
- Experience in the undertaking and delivery of complex data analysis
- Competence in a wide range of MS analytical tools
- The ability to confidently engage with executives and senior leaders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- An understanding of financial processes that support programme achievement
