80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) (Full-time or Part Time Hours considered)
Is hospital dentistry your passion? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Dental Officer to work in Hawke’s Bay. This is a full time position which covers the Hospital Dental Services, and includes a 1:5 on call roster for dental and oral maxillofacial presentations.
The role is to provide outpatient and theatre sessions, with a specific focus on medically compromised, children and special needs patients. You’ll be part of a successful clinical and management team at Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay.
The successful applicant will possess, or be eligible for, registration with the New Zealand Dental Council in general dentistry and have an ongoing commitment to providing a high-class service to the community. A knowledge of and experience with publicly delivered oral health services and experience within the hospital dental environment is a requirement.
This is a fixed term contract to cover parental leave. Consideration will be given to applicants who may wish to work part-time. Permanent Hours are also available and locum contracts will be considered.
