We are seeking an experienced, energetic, efficient and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient Rehabilitation MDT. The team is part of the wider Allied Health Inpatient team at Kenepuru Community Hospital. This ward focuses on specialist rehabilitation with the majority of patients being transferred from Wellington Hospital with neurological needs, or amputee patients who require more rehab before transitioning out of hospital. Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The inpatient rehabilitation MDT is a close-knit team of Allied Health, nursing and medical colleagues, based at Kenepuru Hospital. We are a team that loves to learn and upskill, and we encourage service-improvements that help the patients and the team. One small perk worth mentioning is that parking is available and free on site.
This role sits within the wider Kenepuru Inpatient Allied Health team which consists of over 35 Allied Health staff from six different areas. As a result of frequently working together closely to provide a service of high standard to patients and their families and whanau, there is the opportunity to not only learn your own scope, but develop a strong appreciation for the wider allied health team scopes as well as an appreciation for our fantastic nursing and medical colleagues.
We are a very supportive team who provide training and learning opportunities, supervision, encourage professional development and have fun and laughter along the way.
