Location: Based primarily in Hutt Valley - the team is District wide
Service: Moving and Handling Team - Simulation Service
Contract: Permanent, part-time (multiple roles available including fixed-term, part-time)
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are looking for someone who is passionate about staff and patient safety in the context of moving and handling to join our education team. You will need energy and enthusiasm for coaching and leading change in a learning environment.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
This small, friendly and innovative team sits within the Simulation Service. They have leadership from a Simulation Service Manager, as well as the Moving and Handling Specialist and Education Co-ordinator. The team works collaboratively to design and provide education that is best practice based and is responsive to real issues in the clinical world. They strive to support our safety culture and to enable the workforce to effortlessly be safe in their work.
Moū - About you
If you are keen to improve patient and staff safety, to develop your education skills or grow into an education role, and to share your knowledge and skill in moving and handling, then please consider applying. This role may fit with existing part time roles. Some flexibility around days available is preferred.
